  • Ch 3 in the beginning of each round counts as your first dc.
  • The level of this pattern is beginner friendly.

Abbreviations:

  • Ch – chain.
  • Sl st – Slip stitch. 
  • Dc – Double crochet.
  • st/sts – Stitch/Stitches
  • [ ] – This bracket indicates the number of repeats.
  • ( ) -This bracket indicates the total number of stitches in that round.

Free written Pattern instructions to crochet this Easy Crochet Bell:

Ch 6 and sl st in the first ch to form a ring.

Round 1: ch 2 (counts as your first dc), 7 dc in the ring, turn

Round 2: ch 2, dc in same st as ch 2, *dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc*, repeat from * to * in the remaining sts, turn (12)

Round 3: ch 2, dc in the next 11 dc, turn. (12)

Round 4 – 5: Repeat round 3

Round 6: ch 2, dc in same st as ch 2, dc in next 10 dc, 2 dc in last dc, turn. (14)

Round 7: ch 3, dc in the next dc, *ch 1, dc in the next dc* repeat from * to * [11 times], turn.

Round 8: ch 1, *sc in ch 1 sp, sc in the next dc* repeat from * to * in the next 9 sts, ch 3, repeat from * to * in the remaining sts.

Fasten off and weave in end.
