Meet March!

After Munch turned out so adorable and cute, I decided to make another one but this time a girl bunny.

And I made Miss March.

Meet March

Isn’t she just so adorable?

Miss March was born to a lovely bunny couple in the month of March and so hence they decided to name her March.

Miss March loved to get all dressed up and her favourite colour is pink and she loved her pink dress.
When all dressed up, March loves to go out and dig into her favourite Carrot Cupcake, which are made from the juicy carrots harvested from her father’s carrot farm.

Materials Used :

  • 2.50 mm crochet hook
  • 1 ball of yarn in each colour (Approx 25 gms) (Grey, Green, Red and Orange)
  • Safety eyes
  • Embroidery thread for mouth
  • Fibre filling for stuffing
  • Tapestry needle
  • scissors

To Make the Pink Dress:

Using Pink colour yarn:

Row 1: Chain 22, starting in the 3rd chain from hook, *2 dc in the same stitch, 1 dc in the next stitch* repeat from * to * till the end of chain. (30)

Row 2: 1 dc in each stitch till end of row. (30)

Row 3: 1 hdc in each stitch till the end of row. Join with a sl st to the first stitch of the same row. (30)

Fasten off and sew to form a round.

Attach pink yarn to the top row, leaving approximately 11 stitches on either sides and hdc in each of the remaining stitches. (Mine has approximately 8 hdc in the middle).

Without cutting off the yarn continue making approximately 20 chain and join to the back of the dress to form the straps of the dress. Do the same to make the other strap.

Fasten off and weave in ends.

Put on her dress from the bottom.
